What is the best success? Who is the real winner? Is it the one who gets rich? Is it the one who comes first in the class? Is it the one whose job is good? Is the one who has praises in front of everyone? Consider how real success is achieved and what is called the best success. First of all, understand that there are two types of success, one is partial success and the other is total success .Partial success is what happens in one or two aspects of life, like for a writer to have his books printed, sold, liked, is success. It is a great success for a businessman to grow, expand, open branches in other cities. Similarly, getting a good salary, good position, promotion, salary increment and good performance award is a desirable achievement for a job seeker. A similar explanation can be given in terms of religious matters. But success has a comprehensive, comprehensive and higher meaning which should be our goal. That meaning of success as a human being and as a Muslim is real, perfect and high because its knowledge has been given to us by the All-Knowing Being who knows us more than we do. It is in the Qur'an: Translation: Does not He who created know? Although he is the one who knows every detail, he is very careful. (P29, Al-Mulk: 14) If money was enough for a person's success, then no rich person would be miserable in the world, while we observe that many people with money have disobedient children, long-tongued wives, ruined health and mental disorders. Because of this, they spend their lives in torment. The fact is that even if there is no problem among these problems, then true success cannot be claimed, because if everything in the world is achieved, but with it, the person is subject to God's curse and wrath and deserves the punishment of hell. Such success is failure. *The broadest Islamic concept of success* is to please God, get salvation in the hereafter, get rid of hell and enter heaven. The fact is that when a person strives for the pleasure of God as his main goal and that effort is in accordance with the commandments of God, the instructions of Islam, the teachings of the Sharia, and following the Sunnah, then all his actions become straight, the creation is satisfied, and the wife is happy. The child is obedient, calm minded and contented with sustenance. The Prophet ﷺ has a very beautiful saying about itAswad bin Yazid narrated that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masoud (RA) said: I heard your respected Prophet (PBUH) saying: “He who makes all his sorrows the sorrows of the Hereafter, Allah Almighty will give him his worldly sorrow.” Sufficient for sorrow, and whoever is entangled in the sorrows and worries of worldly affairs, Allah does not care in which valley he perishes. (Ibn Majah, 4/425, Hadith: 4106) About the successful people, Allah Almighty says: Translation: And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger and fears Allah and fears Him (disobedience), then these are the successful people. . (Q18, Al-Noor: 52) The Qur'an says that there are two types of people: One is those who only want the success of this world and the other is those who seek the success of this world and the hereafter. So he said about the seekers of the world: Translation: And someone says like this: O our Lord! Give us in this world and no part of it in the Hereafter. (P2, Al-Baqarah: 200) (Click here for further explanation of this verse) And regarding the seekers of the Hereafter, he said: Translation: And someone says: O our Lord! Grant us good in this world and give us good in the Hereafter. Grant us and save us from the punishment of Hellfire. For these people is a share of what they have earned, and Allah is quick to reckon (Q2, Al-Baqarah: 202, And someone says like this.} The prayer of the Muslim mentioned in this verse is a very comprehensive prayer and all the good things of the religion and the world are asked for in it in a few words. It is narrated from Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ often said this. They used to pray: O our Lord, grant us good in this world and grant us good in the hereafter and save us from the punishment of Hellfire. Such people run away from their earnings and Allah is quick to reckon. (Bukhari, Kitab al-Dawaat) The goodness of this world includes every good and useful thing, whether it is sufficient sustenance or a good house or a good wife or a good ride or a good Neighborhood etc. According to the Qur'an, those who have faith and good character are successful in reality. (Sarat al-Jinan)Allah the Exalted said: Translation: These are the people who are guided by their Lord and these are the ones who will achieve success. Here is a place for us to think about which people we are. We are counted. Are we really on the list of successful people or not? If not, then what kind of success are we looking for? To achieve real success (that is, to improve the hereafter) is the purpose of our worldly life. is of May we succeed in making our world as well as the hereafter the best. May Allah bless us with real success, Ameen.
